Existing Investors:

• Within the sector, there is a number of input suppliers, producers, primary producers , primary processors
• (collection centers) , financial institutions as well as development partners.
• 18 collection centers across the country.
• Rwanda Honey ltd is a private company at the implementation stage in Rulindo District.
• Different unions already involved in the sector( UNICOAPIGI with 625 members producing more that 12 T/season) operating in western province.
• Cooperative model in the sector well organized to provide a suitable business environment
• 83,000 beekeepers and 93,000 beehives in the country.
